About the Item
This is a magnificent antique ring with a gorgeous Heart Shape Royal Amethyst with a Pearl crown and halo in 14 Karat Gold.
The central Royal Amethyst is a stunning heart shape gem that has been carved by one of the finest lapidary artisans. The color is absolutely gorgeous. It is a sparkling Royal Purple Amethyst. The size is magnificent. It is 15mm tall and 14mm wide. The top of the heart is a smooth cabochon cut and the reverse is a faceted cut. The amethyst is surrounded by a halo of silvery white pearls with individually set pearls creating a crown at the top and the bottom of the ring. I love the shimmering romantic purple in the elegant amethyst jewel set against the delicate white pearls. The ring is the most romantic wonderful jewel. It is a treasure to be worn with joy and to be passed on for generations.
The top of the ring is 23mm by 18mm.
The amethyst is is 15mm tall and 14mm wide.
The ring is hallmarked 14K with a maker's mark I cannot decipher.
The ring is currently a size 3.5 US and can be easily resized if desired.
