Made in the 21st century, circa 2010, this unusual emerald and diamond pyramid ring by Spectra Fine Jewelry is striking as a cocktail ring, engagement ring, or celebration ring. Crafted in platinum, the detailing of the ring is stunning, with a vertical silhouette that suggests a ring from the Edwardian Era (1901-1914), or an opulent feather headpiece worn by a flapper in the Roaring 20s. The featured stone is a pear-shape natural emerald weighing approximately 3.00 carats, bezel-set in 18K yellow gold within a platinum diamond-shaped shield that invokes a feeling of chivalry, set with diamonds all over. The round brilliant-cut diamonds are carried through to the band. The emerald is certified by GRS stating that it's of Zambian origin with minor treatment.
