This Contemporary Madagascar Pink Sapphire Diamond Halo Engagement/Cocktail Ring, made by Spectra Fine Jewelry in the 21st century, is crafted from platinum and features an utterly unique oval faceted pink sapphire with an estimated weight of 7.16 carats. The stone is held with 4 talon prongs and surrounded by a sparkling halo of pavé-set white brilliant-cut diamonds that continue partway around the band, with an estimated weight of 0.62 carats total. The sapphire is accompanied by a report from the American Gemological Laboratories (AGL) stating that it is a natural corundum pink sapphire of Madagascar origin with no indication of thermal treatment or clarity enhancement.
More ideal than unusual for an engagement ring, the pink sapphire symbolizes love, strength, compassion, and wise judgment. The pink sapphire is said to have close ties to the heart and can bring loving and playful energy to relationships.
