This is a terrific and colorful Sputnik cocktail ring created in the Netherlands during the mid-century period, back in the 1960-1970. This iconic ring has been crafted in solid yellow gold of 18 karats with high polished finish and embellished with nineteen vivid purple amethysts.
Amethysts: Mounted in bezel settings, with 19 well matched round faceted vivid purple amethysts, with a combined weight of about 2.85 carats.
Birthstone: Amethyst for the month of February.
Weight: 4.70 Grams, (3.05 Dwt).
Size: Actually is 8.25 and may be easily sized up or down on special request.
Measurements: 20 mm by 21 mm (0.79 x 0.83 Inches) and raise 12 mm over the finger.
Hallmarks: Stamped with the maker's mark, the mark for the assay and warranty of the 18Kt yellow gold and signed as follows: ".750".
Collateral: This Sputnik cocktail ring is accompanied by a presentation jewelry box.
Condition: The overall condition of this Sputnik cocktail ring is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the gold. The 19 amethysts are secured in their settings. This ring was carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
