About the Item
This is a classic 10k gold Victorian five-stone ring that features a row of turquoise cabochons. The well-matched stones are in excellent condition, with almost no wear to their surface, securely prong set in an open carriage that allows light to pass underneath the stones. The rings presents as a vibrant row of turquoise color that adds a beautiful pop of color to the hand.
The five-stone ring was a popular design in the Victorian era, symbolizing love, trust, friendship, loyalty, and commitment.
The ring contains five natural antique 6 x 4 mm turquoise cabochons. The face of the ring measures 3/4 x 1/4 with a depth of 3/16. The band has a width of 1.8 mm. The ring weighs 2.8 grams. Acid tests as 10k gold. The ring contains what is left of a maker’s mark, though when it was struck, the mark hit the ring slightly out of alignment and only half of the mark made it onto the ring.
Ring size 7.5; sizable.
