About the Item
A fine and impressive vintage 0.92 carat (total) diamond and platinum cocktail ring with a contemporary shank; part of our diverse diamond jewelry and estate jewelry collections.
This fine and impressive high profile diamond ring has been crafted in platinum.
The feature pierced decorated, high profile, basket style mount displays a feature eight claw set 0.65Ct transitional modern brilliant round cut diamond held in relief to the center of the design.
The central diamond is encircled by eight individually claw set eight-cut diamonds.
The feature, stepped, flared and elevated pierced decorated ring shoulders are embellished with four pavé set eight-cut diamonds individually displayed to each side.
This impressive 1950s cocktail ring has been re-shanked with a replacement contemporary ring shank.
The shank is hallmarked to the interior with the maker's mark 'CMP', the platinum guarantee mark (orb), the platinum fineness mark, the Birmingham Assay Office hallmark (anchor) and the date letter for 2009 (k).
This vintage cocktail ring is supplied with an independent diamond grading certificate for the feature diamond in addition to an independent diamond grading report card for the supporting stones.
Condition
This impressive vintage cluster ring is fine quality. The ring is in excellent condition with a clear full set of English hallmarks to the replacement contemporary ring shank. The ring features a fine and impressive feature diamond of a high grade, as well as fine and impressive supporting diamonds that are all well graded and well cut.
