A fine and impressive vintage 4.90 carat amethyst and 0.80 carat diamond, 18 carat yellow gold and white gold set cocktail ring; part of our diverse gemstone jewellery and estate jewelry collections
This fine and impressive vintage 1950s amethyst ring has been crafted in 18 ct yellow gold, with 18ct white gold settings.
The substantial rounded rectangular setting is embellished with a collet set 4.90 ct cushion cut amethyst.
The domed, broad 18ct white gold set shoulders of the ring are ornamented with forty-four pavé set transitional modern brilliant round cut diamonds and join with the plain hallmarked shank.
This vintage gemstone cocktail ring is hallmarked to the interior of the shank with the 18ct fineness marks (750, 18K).
The ring is supplied with an IDGL diamond and gemstone grading report card.

Condition
This impressive vintage 1950's amethyst ring is excellent quality, set with an impressive amethyst displaying fine colour, brilliance and presence.
The ring is an excellent gauge of gold and is in excellent condition, with clear hallmarks to the interior of the shank.
Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this fine example of vintage jewellery/estate jewelry.
