About the Item
A superb and impressively substantial French-made ring rendered in luxurious 18K yellow gold, distinguished by its exceptional craftsmanship and elegant architectural presence. The design centers a magnificent 12.2 mm South Sea pearl displaying a beautifully even luster with a soft, refined peacock overtone. Surrounding the pearl is a meticulously pavé-set dome of fine F–G color, VS1–VS2 clarity round diamonds, seamlessly complemented by a row of baguette diamonds set into the shoulder—together totaling approximately 4.36 carats.
The ring carries its original French touch-mark, a detail highly prized by collectors and connoisseurs. The underside of the shank shows light wear consistent with age and use; while a polish could remove it, preserving the hallmark maintains the integrity and desirability of the piece. The ring may be sized, though doing so risks softening or removing this mark.
