About the Item
Vintage ruby and diamond flanked solitaire ring. Set to centre with one cushion shape old cut natural and unenhanced Siam ruby in an open back claw setting with a weight of 4.92 carats, flanked by ten rectangular tapered baguette cut diamonds in open back rubover channel settings with a combined weight of 1.00 carats, to a striking flanked solitaire design with polished edges, a solid gallery and fancy open backholing, the broad integrated shoulders leading through to a solid flat shank with raised border detail. Tested yellow gold, circa 1970, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services (GCS) report #77108-06.
