About the Item
Two-stone moi et toi rings are a romantic style dating back to the engagement ring that Napoleon gave to his Empress Josephine. Now diamond engagement-ring versions are worn by pop-culture royals including Ariana Grande and Megan Fox. But you don't have to be engaged to rock two rocks! Wendy Brandes's gorgeous rock-crystal cocktail-ring take on the moi et toi was originally inspired by a jewelry-loving 14th-century queen consort of France known as Clemence of Hungary. It is said that Clemence's personal collection of jewelry and objets d'art was so vast and well-recorded that it took more than 40 scrolls to document.

Wendy has long been inspired by skulls, as artists have been for centuries.
