About the Item
An impressive and heavy Victorian turquoise and old cut diamond pavé ring with a dome of beautiful turquoise cabochons around a central diamond-set star motif. The star motifs were very popular in the Victorian period and they are a symbol of guidance and wisdom often adorned with diamonds in the centre. The ring is made circa 1860's, we believe that the shank was added later, hallmarked for 9ct gold.
