We are delighted to offer this stunning antique Victorian diamond star and blue enamel ring made c.1890.
Unapologetically Victorian, this ring features some of the most desirable and stylish elements of the period. The light blue enamel remains in excellent order without any chips/damage and envelops the top 'cabochon' shaped mount.
The celestial theme/style is further emphasized by the addition of an embedded gold star in which old-cut diamonds are set, capturing the essence of mystical divinity/space in an enchanting design.
The blue enamel surface is delicate and 'soft' yet the colour is striking and delightfully vibrant upon wearing and seeing in person under natural lighting.
The sharp diamond edges and points of the star contrast the overall rounded and 'soft' design of the ring and act as an accent to the overall look.
Overall, a splendid piece of fine Victorian jewellery whether it be a special gift or for a personal addition.
