About the Item
Kirsten’s Corner has a love for both high karat gold and a good, simple dome ring. This 22k gold signature piece is a classic dome ring with a slight rise to it. The ring has a nice finish that is not high polish, but also not quite matte—a beautiful display of the rich yellow hues of high karat gold. The softness of the 22k gold will allow for slight dings and scratches to accumulate in the gold over time, which will become part of the ring’s texture and character. We love this aspect of 22k gold and designed a ring that would incorporate this special quality.
The ring has a nice low dome that curves gently and the band is wider at the top than on the bottom. The ring is hollowed out so that you aren’t paying for extra gold, though the ring still has a nice weight to it. As you wear the ring, the gold will soften up and make this a very comfortable ring to wear.
The band is 6.5 mm at the top and 4.6 mm at the bottom. The ring’s dome has a height of 3.5 mm. The ring weighs 9.48 grams. The 22k gold mark is hand-carved on the interior of the band.
Ring size 7.25, but will fit a 7-7.5. Resizable, with a jeweler who works with 22k gold. It is also possible to have this ring custom made by Kirsten’s Corner to fit your size.
