18K White Gold Vogue Awarded Made in Italy Aquamarine Blue Sapphires Cosmic Ring.

The Vega ring is made of 18kt white gold and features a round mixed cut, diameter 7.3 mm, 1.36 carats aquamarine and around 0.72 carats total weight, top quality, n. 56 round blue sapphires pave. It is CAD designed by Italian designer and gemologist (GIA G.G.) Beatrice Barzaghi, then 3D printed, fused in gold, soldered, set and polished by hand by the best Italian goldsmiths. The ring’s weight is about 5.28 g. The head of the ring measures 15 mm from vertex one to the opposite one. Since I am very concerned of comfort, I conceived the Vega ring to be not too bulky, therefore it measures 7.2 mm between the table of the stone and the finger. The ring size is EU 55, US 7 3/4. The ring can be resized and Beatrice Barzaghi offers it included in the ring price. I created this ring for Vogue Italia “Who is on next” only contest for jewelry held in 2007 when I was still studying and I was very happy it was selected as one of the three the finalist. I conceived it with a pave of gems underneath so that their gemological characteristics influence the appearance of the gem set above them. In this case the color of the aquamarine looks much darker than it is in reality; while a diamond pave underneath would increase the brilliance and lightness of the stone above. The inspiring idea is that reality is never as it appears to be; we can always influence the way it seems to be. This ring should remind the wearer of this idea. Moreover the two symbols: the circle of the round aquamarine and the square formed by the pave symbolize Man between the Celestial Spheres (the circle) and Mother Earth (the square).
The Vega ring gets its name by the star Vega. With its ethereal lines this ring symbolizes the reaching of Enlightenment; the fulfilment of the gifts we were born with. The Vega ring was inspired by the star Vega in particular, since Man is influenced by everything around him, from the celestial bodies to the smallest but powerful stone.
The Vega ring, like all my jewels, is conceived as an energetic object, helping the wearer to develop the talents with which he was born. Gems and metals form deep into Mother Earth and because of extremely high temperatures and pressure they became energy accumulators, thus they affect the person wearing them.
Energies and vibrations of gems are powerful and I proved it with an experiment held in February 2021 conducted by Professor of anatomy Claudia Dellavia of the University of Milan (please contact me for more details).
The Vega Collection belongs to the Enlightenment Collection; it is modeled by CAD and represents the divine sparkle that shines through Humanity, the Celestial Spheres, the reaching of Enlightenment. While the Struggle Collection, that is modeled by lost wax technique, represents the worldly and human element, the complexity of the daily quest. The Essence Collection, is modeled by both CAD and lost wax technique and merges their meanings: it represents the path to fulfill human gifts through Matter.
All gems and metals need to be energetically cleansed once a month by leaving them in running water for 5 minutes or by keeping them next to a rock crystal overnight.

It shields the aura and aligns the chakras, clearing the throat chakra and bringing communication from a higher plane. It also aligns the physical and spiritual bodies.
Blue sapphire: is known as the wisdom stone. It focuses and calm the mind and releases unwanted thoughts and mental tensions, bringing in peace of mind and serenity. Sapphire aligns the physical, mental and spiritual planes and restores balance within the body. This stone releases depression and spiritual confusion and stimulates concentration. It brings prosperity and attracts gifts of all kind. Placed on the throat it releases frustration and facilitates self-expression. Blue sapphire in particular is a seeker after spiritual truth, traditionally associated with love and purity. This stone helps you to stay on the spiritual path.
