This exquisite 1920s Art Deco platinum diamond ring captures the essence of the era’s bold elegance and meticulous craftsmanship. At the center is a dazzling 0.85 carat round brilliant-cut diamond, bezel-set and surrounded by a finely millegrained circular halo of pavé-set diamonds totaling 0.45 Carats. The surrounding structure gracefully unfolds into an intricate openwork design, composed of two flanking halos and stylized floral and foliate motifs, each meticulously set with sparkling single-cut diamonds totaling approximately 0.45 carats.
The platinum mounting is a masterpiece of symmetry and detail, with gently tapering shoulders that transition seamlessly into the band. Subtle engraving and millegrain edging along the gallery and shank reflect the era’s attention to refinement and light play. Measuring 0.4 inch wide and 1.20 inches across the top, the ring has a substantial presence without being overpowering. It weighs 4.98 grams and is currently a size 8, easily resizable if needed.
