Ring in platinum.
Important antique pompadour ring, it is set with an oval aquamarine of a deep blue in a surround of antique cushion-cut diamonds, all in millegrain setting. The basket of this splendid antique aquamarine ring is made of volutes to let the light penetrate the gems.
Weight of the aquamarine : 11.50 carats. Natural aquamarine, not heated, without treatment, accompanied by its certificate of the French laboratory of gemmology.
Total weight of the diamonds: about 2 carats.
Height : 3.1 cm, width : 18.4 mm, thickness : 8.3 mm approximately, width of the ring at the base : 1.8 mm.
Total weight of the jewel : 7,5 g approximately.

Our opinion : Sublime and precious, voluminous and yet very flat on the finger, this antique aquamarine ring is a piece of high jewelry and collection. The central aquamarine has a rare deep hue.
