An antique diamond, and yellow gold ring, comprising five old European cut diamonds, in 18 karat yellow gold.
My favourite thing about this Victorian 18K Yellow Gold Diamond Ring, is the dazzling sparkle of the diamonds. What’s yours? Perhaps the looping setting? Or the buttery yellow gold?
This Victorian ring is set to the centre with a chunky old European cut diamond, and is flanked by 2 further pairs of old cut diamonds, graduating in size. The diamonds are held aloft in claw settings, creating a looping gallery, which allows plenty of light to filter through and aid sparkle. The diamonds are bright, white, sparkly and well-matched with one another. The shoulders of the ring taper to a plain, polished band of yellow gold. The ring is in great condition. Wear and tear acquiescent with age.
The ring measures 4.7mm long, and the setting measures 13mm wide. The ring rises 2.9mm off the hand, and the band measures 2.3mm wide at the back.
