About the Item
A fabulous carved cameo ring from the late Art Deco (ca1930) era! Crafted in 14k white gold, this striking piece features a beautiful and ornate hand carved cameo set within a beautiful filigree navette-style mounting. The cameo image depicts the side profile of a young woman, who is depicted with her hair in a loose updo. The woman is also adorned with a diamond necklace hanging around her neck. The small diamond is held in place by a bead-setting, but is bordered by a heart-shaped frame. The unique design gives the ring a stylish look and the piece would complement any ensemble!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 6.25 but could be easily resized. The cameo plaque (including the gold filigree frame) measures 7/8" and just under 1/2" wide, and the ring rests 3/8" above the finger when worn.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the white gold filigree setting, and the cameo and diamond are intact.
