About the Item
A fabulous onyx ring from the Art Deco (ca1920s) era! Crafted in 14k white gold, this lovely piece feature an onyx centerpiece adorned with an inlaid old cut single cut diamond. The border of the onyx features striking silver enamel that surrounds the center diamond piece. A beautiful filigree wirework motif decorates the frame, sides, and shoulders of the ring, complete with fine milgrain detailing and shapely cutouts that result in a lacy appearance. A wonderful Art Deco ring, it would make a special addition to any vintage or contemporary jewelry collection!
Measurements: The is a size 5, but could be easily resized. The centerpiece measures just over 7/8” tall and 1/2” wide.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the white gold setting. The rock quartz crystal and onyx are both intact and free of any chips or scratches, and the accent diamond is intact. There is a small amount of enamel that is worn at one corner of the ring, but is not noticeable.
