About the Item
An exquisite emerald ring from the Art Deco (ca1930s) era! Crafted in 18k yellow gold and sterling silver, this ring features a central oval cut emerald. The emerald is beautifully faceted, and is held within a four-prong setting and surrounded by an additional milgrained gold frame. The remainder of the ring's centerpiece is composed of swirling motifs, which add to the unique appeal of the piece. The shoulders of the ring are decorated with foliage-motif etchings, and the remainder of the band is smooth and simple. The inside of the shank is stamped "ITALY" and with an additional illegible maker's mark. A colorful mixed metal piece, this ring would make a lovely addition to any Victorian-era jewelry collection!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 7.5, but could easily be resized if desired.
Condition: The ring is in overall excellent condition. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold or sterling silver setting. The emerald is secure and intact.
