About the Item
An Art Deco diamond, yellow gold, and platinum ring, comprising one transitional cut diamond, and two single cut diamonds, set in platinum, to a band of 18 karat yellow gold.
This elegant ring is set to the centre with a transitional cut diamond (the precursor to the round brilliant cut diamond). The diamond is held aloft at the centre of the ring, within a protective square shaped setting. The principal diamond is wonderfully bright, white, and sparkly, with excellent clarity and colour. Stepped, rectangular shoulders, in plain, polished platinum give this ring a unique and striking look. A pair of small single cut diamonds complete this ring, both set within square shaped settings, accentuating the central diamond. Slim, tapered shoulders lead to a band of plain, polished yellow gold. The ring is in great condition, with the band having likely been replaced at some point. Wear and tear acquiescent with age.
The setting of the ring measures 4mm high and 10.5mm wide. The band measures 2mm wide at the back.
