About the Item
An Art Deco cabochon emerald and diamond cluster ring, the oval cabochon-cut emerald estimated to weigh 4,0 carats, accompanied by The Gem
Pearl Lab. Report stating that is of Colombian origin, set to the centre of a double cluster of sixty round and cushion old-cut and ten rose-cut diamonds, with a daylight in-between to a platinum mount with diamond-set split shoulders, gross weight 4.47 grams, circa 1925, head measuring 1.6x1.6 cm, finger size I 1/2, gross weight 4.47 grams.
This spectacular ring comes from the antique ring collection of Bentley
Skinner, Jewellers by Royal Appointment to His Majesty King Charles III. It was made in the mid 1920s and is a piece of Art Deco splendour. The impressive central cabochon-cut emerald is of a bright grass green colour, which is complemented beautifully by two rows of glittering diamonds. This bold dress ring would look stunning with a chic cocktail dress.
This ring is in very good condition, minimal abrasion to the emerald consistent with age. Unmarked tested as platinum.
