About the Item
A refined jewel from the Art Deco era (1920-1930), this vintage engagement ring showcases a .53 carat round brilliant diamond of exceptional quality (F color, SI1 clarity) set in a finely detailed filigree mounting. Two side accent diamonds add an extra touch of sparkle, enhancing the ring’s timeless geometry and elegance.
The top of the ring is crafted in 18k gold, professionally verified using both X-ray fluorescence (XRF) analysis and jeweler’s acid testing. At some point in the past, the ring was re-shanked with a 10k band. In the process, a small amount of filigree detail was lost along the sides of the band. To the casual eye, this appears simply as normal wear consistent with age, and the ring retains its striking presence and overall integrity.
The ring is currently a size 5.5, but most of our rings can be resized for an additional charge. Please contact us if you’d like to take advantage of our resizing services.
