A stunning Antique Art Deco - Edwardian Diamond and Sapphire Wedding Ring Engagement Stacking Ring set with a gorgeous .25 Carat Old European Cut Diamond of brilliant white H color and VS clarity. This is a very fine diamond with the incredible fire of the antique diamonds that we love so much. The very fine H color and VS clarity is unusual in the antique diamonds and create so much of the magic of this ring. On either side of the Diamond are four stunning Marquise Shaped Sapphires and two additional Old European Diamonds. The gorgeous fine blue Sapphires in the marquise shape are the most wonderful touch to this delicate and romantic jewel! The jewels are set in a filigree open work engraved setting. The ring is 18 Karat White Gold.
The Art Deco, Edwardian jewels were characterized by the elegant use of Diamonds and open work to create the airy, delicate, fairy like quality of these jewels that make them so coveted. This ring with the added delight of the marquise blue Sapphires is one of the very best! The ring dates to the Art Deco to Edwardian period, circa 1900-1920. The beautiful and intricate design is a masterpiece of jewelry artisanship. What a romantic Wedding Ring, Engagement Ring or a special Ring to wear everyday or to wear as part of a stack of rings.
