This is a stunning Antique Art Deco - Edwardian Heart Motif Diamond and Emerald Wedding Ring Engagement Stacking Ring set with a gorgeous .25 Carat Old European Cut Diamond of brilliant white F color! On either side of the Diamond are two delightful Heart Shaped Emeralds. The gorgeous green Emeralds in the heart shape are the most wonderful touch to this delicate and romantic jewel! The emeralds may be synthetic as was the custom in the Art Deco period. The jewels are set in a filigree open work engraved setting with lovely engraving extending 3/4 of the way around the band. The ring is 18 Karat White Gold. The Art Deco, Edwardian jewels were characterized by the elegant use of Diamonds and open work to create the airy, delicate, fairy like quality of these jewels that make them so coveted. This ring with the added delight of the heart shaped emeralds is one of the very best! The ring dates to the Art Deco to Edwardian period, circa 1900-1920. The beautiful heart motif design is a masterpiece of jewelry artisanship. What a romantic Wedding Ring, Engagement Ring or a special Ring to wear everyday or to wear as part of a stack of rings.
