Art Deco diamond and platinum engagement ring circa 1925. *
ABOUT THIS ITEM: #R-DJ812D. Scroll down for specifications. The platinum mounting centers upon a circular-cut diamond weighing over half a carat. Slightly domed, the ring features an abundance of classic Art Deco chase work on the gallery and shoulders. A pair of smaller round diamonds embellish the gallery on the north and south sides. They act as small beacons of fire that highlight the more important center diamond.
SPECIFICATIONS:
PRIMARY DIAMOND: one round brilliant-cut diamond weighing approximately 0.55 carat, approximately G-H color, SI1 clarity.
METAL: platinum.
WEIGHT: 2.9 grams.
RING SIZE: approximately 6 minus, can be sized.
MEASUREMENTS: approximately 7 mm wide vertical to the fingernail.
CONDITION: high magnification photographs show considerable design details, and the item is in good condition, all consistent with age and wear.
