About the Item
A wonderful diamond engagement ring set from the Art Deco (ca1920s) era! Crafted in platinum, the engagement ring features a .50ct old European cut diamond, which is held within a four-prong setting. The diamond displays I/J color and SI2 clarity. The central diamond is surrounded by a diamond-encrusted square-shaped centerpiece, and the shoulders of the ring feature additional bead-set small diamonds. The remainder of the band is smooth and simple, and the inside of shank is stamped "PLAT" and with a small hallmark. The engagement ring is accompanied by a matching wedding band, which is carved to puzzle-piece fit with the engagement ring. The front of the band is adorned with bead-set diamonds. Overall, the smaller diamonds have an approximate total carat weight of .35ctw and vary between single and full cuts. The inside of the band is stamped "PLAT" and with a maker's mark which reads: "BROS". A fantastic set, these rings would be perfect to celebrate any individual's engagement!
Measurements: The diamond engagement ring is a size 7, and the matching band a 7.25. However, both rings could easily be resized.
Condition: The overall condition of both rings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum settings, and all of the diamonds are secure and intact.
