About the Item
We defy anyone not to fall in love with this breathtaking handmade antique ring. A beautiful Old European Cut diamond weighing an estimated 0.80 carats is set on top of an intricate millgrained filigree gallery, set with an estimated 0.14 carats of eight-cut diamonds in total. The gallery tapers down into the band, which is beautifully crafted with a ridge detail.
The ring is stamped 'Platina' (platinum). From assessing some of the rings other features, we believe this ring is most likely French-made, and we date it to around the 1920s.
It's truly one of a kind - in our 50 years of expertise gained from working on London's iconic Hatton Garden, we've seen few pieces of jewellery that match this beautiful ring in terms of its outstanding craftsmanship and intricacy.
