About the Item
A beautiful diamond and sapphire ring from the Art Deco (ca1930s) era! This gorgeous piece is crafted in platinum and features three stones running horizontally across the front of the ring. The central stone is an old mine cut diamond, which is held within a bead setting. The diamond has a carat weight of 0.25ct, and displays H/I color and VS2 clarity. The diamond is bordered on both sides by French cut sapphires, which exhibit a lovely deep, rich blue hue. The sapphires have an approximate total carat weight of 0.40ctw, and are held within milgrained bezel settings. The diamond is bordered on both the top and the bottom by three-dimensional blooming flowers, which add a dainty appeal to the piece. The gallery and shoulders of the ring feature elegant filigree and cut-out detailing. The rest of the band is smooth and simple, and the inside of the shank is marked with an illegible maker's mark. A truly magnificent ring, this piece would make for the perfect engagement ring or anniversary present!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 6.75 but could be easily re-sized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting, and the diamond and sapphires are all secure and intact.
