A sapphire and diamond cluster ring, the square sapphire weighing approximately 0.65 carat, surrounded by sixteen old-cut diamonds weighing approximately a total of 0.35 carat, all set in platinum and gold, circa 1920, head measuring 0.9x0.9cm, finger size P, gross weight 2.4 grams.
A simple yet sophisticated vintage ring from the collection of Bentley
Skinner, Jewellers by Royal Appointment to His Majesty King Charles III. This lovely geometric cluster ring features a square sapphire surrounded by a square frame of dazzling diamonds. The cluster is set in platinum, and the band is both platinum and yellow gold. This is a pretty and chic piece, perfect for everyday wear and would be particularly well suited as an antique engagement ring.
This ring is in very good condition, with abrasion to the sapphire consistent with age. Unmarked Tested as 18ct gold and platinum.
