About the Item
A strong Art Deco Style influence is evident in this fabulous circa 1950s sapphire and diamond ring. This wonderful mid-century piece showcases a stunning 2.76 carat, transparent blue, cushion cut Burmese sapphire amid a shimmering grain set border of round brilliant cut diamonds. The diamonds have a combined weight of 0.65 carat. The ring's remarkable natural sapphire has been independently certified by the world-renowned Gubelin gemological laboratory and shows no evidence of heat treatment. A single row of diamonds to the north and south and stepped shoulders, which graduate from five diamonds to three put the sparkling finishing touches to this ring's vintage platinum setting.
