About the Item
Burmese ruby and diamond crossover ring. Set with a cushion shape old cut natural unenhanced Burmese ruby in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 1.30 carats, further set with a round old cut diamond in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 1.25 carats, decorated with eight round old cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.08 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.33 carats, to an elegant crossover design featuring curving claws, an intricately pierced gallery and open backholing, leading to scrolling shoulders with ridged detail and flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Tested platinum, French, circa 1915, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #5785-3045.
