About the Item
The Callie Grey ethical engagement ring has a charming artisanal quality that you won’t find on the high st. She is the perfect anti-dote to a typical store bought ring.
The galaxy grey diamond sits in a cup like setting and hand-stamped lines have been added around the stone. I have decorated the court style band (2 x 2.5mm) with dots and lines.
The galaxy diamond (also known as the salt and pepper diamond) are so called because of the random dark specks within the stone. These specs are called inclusions. They are minerals that formed inside the diamond whilst it was growing within the earth’s crust. These diamonds have been growing in popularity as each one is unique.
This ring is made with 18ct Fairmined Gold from the Oro Puro mining community in Peru.
Fairmined is an initiative that provides a certification label for gold sourced responsibly, ensuring its traceability and extraction using environmentally-friendly mining practices, while also promoting the growth of artisanal and small-scale mining communities.
I make Callie Grey to order in my London studio in the UK. She will take 6 – 8 weeks from the time of order.
This jewellery carries a high vibration of love. While working with gold, I sing ancient healing mantras and weave blessings and prayers into the very bones of each piece. I like to think of my jewels as ‘Little Gold Prayers’.
When making wedding and engagement rings, I put blessings into the rings for the couple’s journey through life together. Get in contact if you have a specific blessing request or have relationship hope and values you would like included.
She comes in a variety of diamond sizes, with a choice of gold colour. The images show a 0.5 carat diamond.
