Early 20th Century
Moi et Toi ring signifies two most important elements in a relationship, love and friendship. It is symbolic of a union of two lovers as well as two different elements coming together to complement one another. A French classic since 1796, when Napoleon Bonaparte proposed to Josephine with a Moi et Toi ring, the style has an impressive following: from Jackie Kennedy to modern celebrities.
