About the Item
Here we have a truly special three-stone ring dating back to the Edwardian era. At the centre of the face we find an unheated, oval ruby of Burmese origin. This principal stone showcases a rich red hue, often referred to as pigeon blood. It is highly complimented by the bright white sparkle of the old cut diamonds on each side. All three stones here have been individually claw set and the ring is crafted in 18ct rose gold with a platinum setting for the diamonds. The ring is completed with two old cut diamonds on each shoulder.
Unheated Burmese rubies of this colour tone and clarity are extremely rare and desirable. This would make a perfect engagement ring and is suitable for every day wear.
