About the Item
Dating to approximately 1910, this Edwardian ring is a five stone with graduating diamonds. The transitional cut diamonds start with a 0.35 carat in the centre and the two adjacent on either side weigh 0.20 carat, with the end stones each weighing 0.10 carat. This brings the total weight to 0.95 carat. All the diamonds are claw set and match in quality; estimated as H in colour and VS in clarity. The setting work is open backed and made in platinum. The shank is in 18 carat yellow gold, a typical feature of the era.
