Exceptional five carat old mine diamond ring. Set with a cushion shape old mine diamond, L colour, VS2 clarity, with a weight of 5.02 carats in an open back claw setting, flanked by eight graduating round eight cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.16 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 5.18 carats to an elegant flanked solitaire design with curving split corner claws, an intricately pierced openwork gallery featuring flower motifs and fancy open backholing, leading to raised shoulders flowing to a solid D-shape shank. Tested platinum, accompanied by Gemological Institute of America (GIA) report #2231505381.
