About the Item
A breathtaking F
F Felger Inc. opal ring from the Art Nouveau era (ca1910)! This beautiful ring is crafted in 14k yellow and white gold, and features a central claw-prong set 5ct white opal cabochon. The stunning opal is simply mesmerizing, exhibiting iridescent hues of green, blue, orange, and violet, all of which flash and shimmer in the light. The shoulders of the ring are each adorned with three dainty balls. The remainder of the band is smooth and simple, and the inside is stamped with the F
F Felger Inc. maker's mark, "" and a "14K" purity mark. The ring looks exquisite when worn, and would make a very special addition to any collection!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 7, but could be easily resized. The opal centerpiece measures approximately 5/8" tall, 1/2" wide, and rests about 3/8" above the finger when worn. The tapered gold band measures 2.07mm wide at the back.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting. The opal is secure and intact.
