About the Item
Ring in platinum ring, dog head hallmark.
A sublime Art Deco ring, its platinum setting follows the curve of the finger and holds a large oval Ceylon sapphire of soft blue brilliance in 4 flat claws at the top. On either side of the sapphire, the ring's Greek motifs are openwork, chased and each set with 2x7 8/8-cut diamonds. The profiles are delicately openworked with geometric motifs.
Total weight of the sapphire : 4,69 carats approximately. Unheated, untreated sapphire with laboratory certificate from Sri Lanka (Ceylon).
Height : 14.3 mm approximately, width : 9.8 mm approximately, thickness : 5.1 mm approximately, width of the ring at the base : 1.7 mm approximately.
Total weight of the jewel : 5,3 g approximately.
