About the Item
These delicately and precisely cut princess cut diamonds have been channel set from underneath and therefore called invisible set diamonds.
Channel setting involves making grooves in the pavilion area of the Diamond and letting the Diamond roll onto a strip of 18 K gold support, one by one, and as the diamonds touch each other, shoulder to shoulder, one can see from the top that there are no prongs holding the diamonds together. This gives rise to the name 'invisible set'.
26 princess cut diamonds weighing cts 1. 09 adorn the main curved tower.
The shank is embedded with pcs of round diamonds weighing 0.48 cts.
These are all set in 7.11 grams of 18 K white gold.
All in all, because of the unique invisible setting and the semi-circular cylindrical design, this is most certainly an eye - catching, if not, conversational piece adding importance and stature to the one who wears it.
