About the Item
This sweet and beautiful 14K yellow gold engagement ring features a prong-set emerald-green double-cabochon of natural, untreated jadeite jade. The gorgeous stone measures 9.54 x 7.21 x 3.43mm. Three sparkly little .02-carat diamonds are set within white gold on either side. The face of the ring measures 9.52mm and 11.78mm west to east. It rises 7.88mm from the surface of the finger. I love it as a unique engagement ring but it would be wonderful stacked with other favorite rings on your right hand as well!
The jade is highly translucent and richly saturated. In terms of scale, this jade stone is approximately the same size as a 1.50-carat oval-cut diamond.
The rich, buttery 14K yellow gold mounting is 2.66mm in the rear and tapers just ever-so-slightly at the shoulders where it meets the diamonds. There is a metal fineness mark on the interior that reads "585" signifying 14K gold. But any maker's mark has been worn away. I'm not positive where this ring was made. but frankly, the jade is such high-quality, I would not be surprised if the ring was created in Asia —Japan, perhaps, or Singapore.
This lovely size 6 ring could be resized by your local jeweler. The ring ships with a certificate from Stone Group Labs stating that the jade is untreated Jadeite from Burma (Myanmar).
