About the Item
This late deco diamond cluster ring was hand made during the 1940s in 18 carat white gold with all of the intricate openwork and millegrain flourishes you so often see in a piece dating back to the Jazz Age. It centres one claw set transitional cut diamond, accented at each of its cardinal points by slightly smaller brilliant cut diamonds, which alternate with four french cut diamonds, one at each intermediate point, forming an angled square cluster. The diamonds have a combined weight of 0.80 carat and are estimated to be G in colour and VS1 in clarity.
