About the Item
A late Georgian emerald and diamond ring, in the form of a flower, to the centre an octagonal-cut emerald, estimated to weigh 0.2 carats, surrounded by six old-mine cut diamonds one set on each petal, estimated to weigh 0.65 carats in total, all mounted in silver and yellow gold, the band with scroll and geometric decorations, accompanied by two later-made stylised bands with foliate and scroll decorations, cluster ring circa 1820, bands circa 1910, gross weight 6.7 grams. Finger size K 1/2
A late Georgian emerald and diamond ring set in very good condition.
This wonderful Georgian-era ring comes from the collection of Bentley
Skinner, Jewellers by Royal Appointment to His Majesty King Charles III. The delicate and intricate band surrounds the floral motif of the glittering central cluster, which features a bright and vivid emerald at its centre. This lovely ring comes with two curved gold bands which frame the ring on the finger. This wonderful piece would make a dainty and characterful engagement ring.
