About the Item
A truly rare find, this Late Victorian carved shank ring has been crafted entirely in platinum. A collection of five old cut diamonds are on display descending in size from the centre. The largest sits at 0.65 carat, with the flanking pair weighing 0.45 carat a piece and the stones at either end being 0.20 carat each. The collection of diamonds range in colour from G to H and in clarity from VS to SI. In between the stones additional small rose cut diamonds offer wonderful detailing adding to the beauty of the piece. Intricate hand carving work flows across the gallery and down the shank, a classic hallmark of Victorian design.
