About the Item
A late Victorian emerald and diamond three stone ring, the oval-cut diamond weighing approximately 0.30 carats set between two emerald-cut emeralds, weighing approximately a total of 0.60 carats, all se in a yellow gold carved mount with scroll decorations, to a yellow gold D-shape shank, circa 1890, head measuring 0.8x1.3cm, gross weight 4.0 grams.
This ring is in very good condition, with signs of abrasion on the emeralds, consistent with the age of the ring. Unmarked, tested as 14ct gold.
This gorgeous three stone ring comes from the Victorian ring collection of Bentley
Skinner, Jewellers by Royal Appointment to His Majesty King Charles III. This ring features a classic Victorian gold scroll carved mount set with two crème de menthe emeralds and one scintillating diamond. Colourful and bright, this lovely piece is a perfect example of late Victorian ornate style.
