Orloff of Denmark's very own 'Neptunian Moonlight'
An extraordinary 5.10 carat blue spinel set in 950 platinum. The split-shank ring which the gem is set upon is adorned with wonderful VS1, brilliant diamonds spanning from the bottom of the band, all the way to the top around the gallery.
This gem not only has a wonderful deep blue color but a dazzling brilliance to complete it's status as an exceptional gemstone!
Present in this gem are a cluster of tubular inclusions all connecting to a solid crystal. Inclusion are usually considered as a negative in the world of gemstones however, when put to light, inclusions can become stunning shows of microscopic excellence and present the observer with an intriguing inside look of the complicated anatomy of a naturally formed gemstone.
This spinel comes with a LOTUS Gemology, 15-page AU NATUREL, Gold Certified Hardcover book.
