About the Item
This 1.74-carat pear-shaped salt-and-pepper diamond has a rose cut faceting, its flat base and domed top allowing you to look directly into the stone. The gray body carries a mix of darker and lighter inclusions, with some warmer tones visible toward the center. The pear shape elongates gracefully on the finger, tapering to a point at the bottom.
At Ursula Rickmers Jewelry, we set this diamond in 18k yellow gold with five teardrop-shaped prongs that follow the contours of the stone. The band has a knife-edge profile, catching light along its ridge and giving the ring a sharper, more architectural feel. The warmth of the yellow gold plays off the cool gray of the diamond, grounding the stone while letting its character come through.
