About the Item
A beautiful vibrant red ruby and diamond trilogy engagement ring set in 18k yellow gold.
This classic design of engagement ring is centrally six-claw set with an oval cut ruby which is a beautiful vibrant red colour. This ruby is then sided by two incredibly sparkly round brilliant cut diamonds which are set within an open back yellow gold setting. The stones then lead to a solid 2.5-millimetre yellow gold band.
Due to the piece being incredibly symmetrical; it sits beautifully on the hand. The spread of the stones across the finger is extremely elegant and because the setting is simple it can easily be stacked with other rings such as an eternity or wedding band.
This ring was designed and created by us, Susannah Lovis Jewellers, using vintage stones. The piece is therefore brand new and has never been worn.
There is a total ruby weight of 1.74 carats. Both side diamonds are round brilliant cuts and have a combine total weight of 1.45 carats. These are estimated to be G/H in colour with VS clarity. The ring is currently a UK finger size M (USA size approximate 6 1/4) but this can be resized for a perfect fit. The ring is stamped for 18k gold with the makers mark SL. The ring is accompanied by a full valuation for insurance purposes by our in-house valuer.
For size reference, the head of the ring measures 1.75 x 0.85 and there is a gross weight of 4.5 grams
