About the Item
A gorgeous diamond engagement ring from the Retro (ca1940s) era! Crafted in platinum, this beautiful piece features a large, central 1.35ct old European cut diamond, which Is held within a clawed prong-setting. The diamond is wonderfully faceted, and displays H color and VS2 clarity. Each shoulder of the ring features a single prong-set baguette cut diamond. Together, the baguette diamonds have an approximate total carat eight of .20ctw. The remainder of the band is smooth and simple, and the inside of the shank is stamped "10% IRID PLAT". A truly timeless piece, this ring would make an exceptional engagement ring!
Measurements:The ring is a size 5.75, but could easily be resized. The band has a width of 2mm.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting or to any of the diamonds, all of which are intact and securely set.
