About the Item
Sapphire and diamond flanked solitaire ring. Set to centre with a rectangular step cut natural unenhanced Ceylon sapphire in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 4.74 carats, flanked by two tapered baguette diamonds in open back rubover settings with an approximate combined weight of 0.50 carats, to a striking flanked solitaire design featuring curving claws, a geometrically pierced gallery and open backholing, the slightly raised shoulders continue to a solid D-shape shank. Tested platinum, circa 1950, accompanied by SSEF report#137485.
